  1. It is a learning environment that attempts to support sharing of cognitive achievements and interaction between different project participants. For example, using a tool on the internet that allows multiple students to post on leads to collaboration.

It can be a great benefit for students to learn from one another in a different setting. Also, when students use technology tools they are learning new every day life skills in our society.

  2. Technology-supported cooperative learning is learning which takes place in an environment that supports sharing information and achievements between multiple people.

The benefits of this type of learning is the ability to learn from each other. Students learning from other students is a very effective tool because they speak the same language and terms as well as having similar background experiences making learning from each other easy and effective.

  3. Technology-supported cooperative learning is simply working on a project or assignment with other students (cooperatively) and using technology as a part of the process.

In TSCL, students often communicate through chat features and email, rather than speaking in person. Because they are doing a lot more writing than for typical assignments, students will get all the benefits of cooperative learning, but will also benefit from improved writing skills.

  4. Technology supported cooperative learning is working and learning with others and technology in multiple ways. Students can communicate and work in cooperative learning groups through e-mail and social networking sites, the internet, and/ or the World Wide Web with others’ from around the world. This could be working together in a classroom, over the internet, or communication through e-mail and social networking sites. As you can imagine, the possibilities of technology supported cooperative learning are virtually endless. The benefits of technology supported cooperative learning groups are that students can communicate with others from around the world, learn technology and communication skills that are vital for their futures, learning to work together in a team, and to interpret and share thoughts and ideas.

  5. Technology supported cooperative learning is incorporating technology and computers into group work and activities. There are many benefits associated with using technology supported cooperative learning. One of the benefits is that it helps promote a classroom made up of a community of learners. It also allows students to work as teams towards a common goal and provides opportunities for students to get to know one another. Incorporating technology allows students to actively engage in their learning and conduct their own research.

The benefits of technology-supported cooperative learning include increased achievement in both academics and in the use of technology. The use of technology-supported cooperative learning also encourages positive social interactions and relationships among students in the group, and it fosters a positive outlook on the use of technology.

  7. Technology-supported cooperative learning is an instructional strategy in which students use technology while working together in small groups to complete a certain task.
One of the benefits of using technology-supported cooperative learning is that not everyone in the group will have the same abilities. By using technology in a cooperative group, students can help each other to develop a better understanding of the technology being used. Another benefit of using technology-supported cooperative learning is that not only can you work in a group and form a relationship with other students in your class, you can also work with other students from around the world.

  8. I think that using technology as a tool in cooperative learning is great. I try to incorporate it in my classroom all the time. In cooperative learning the students are already using the resources of each other to be creative and have a better understanding of the material. By giving the students a computer with a variety of programs on tools, it helps them to express themselves better, and allow that creativity they have together as a group be shared with their peers.

  9. In cooperative learning, students are working together in pairs or small groups to share their knowledge and work together to solve problems. Be adding technology, it enhances their learning ability. The students share a common goal and their success depends on the entire group. Piaget and other related theorists have based their premise that when individuals cooperate and work together socially, it stimulates their cognitive development. I do believe that knowledge is social and we need to learn, understand, and solve problems together in today's world.

  11. Technology supported cooperative learning is a strategy that allows students to work together in pairs or small groups using technology to support learning.

Technology supported cooperative learning is a great way to learn about new media and technologies and a way to enhance learning. It is good to work in groups in case someone in the group isn't as familiar with the technology, and you can bounce ideas off of eachother. A great way to integrate learning in the classroom.

  12. Technology is a process of devising reliable and repeatable solutions to tasks. Technology can be also be defined as the hardware and software that result from the application of technological processes. (Smaldino, Lowther, & Russell, 2008, p.374)

Cooperative learning is a grouping strategy. This is done with the intent of allowing students to work together to the benefit of all that are placed in the group. Individual and group accountability can be established through this practice, and competition among students is reduced, since students are helping each other.

When technology is added into cooperative learning, students are able to work together using modern software applications to find solutions to problems.
